I attended the Bella institute in Portland for the hair and esthetics program. I fell in love with all things beauty when I became an apprentice for a hair and makeup team for weddings and special events when I was 16. Since then, I have had extensive training certifying me as a Color Specialist, but I’m also 2x certified in tape-in extensions. Color is applied using a minimum number of foils to achieve highlights in desired locations. Cornrows are often done in simple, straight lines, as the term implies, but they can also be styled in elaborate geometric or curvilinear designs.
